Dare 2 - New Zealand Film Recognition

This dare was conceived when it became apparent that NZ is only known by its movies .... my taxi driver from the airport mentioned "Lord of the Rings", and I was served by a guy at a fast food chain who asked me if I'd seen "Whale Rider" ... subsequent LOTR references have followed.

So the challenge is ... how many film references can I expect? Personally, I'd like a few obscure movies to be name-checked - you know "oh, you're from NZ. That's where 'Heavenly Creatures' was filmed" ... or mention "Bad Taste" or "Goodbye Pork Pie". All I'm saying, is there is more to NZ than Whale Rider, LOTR and the Piano ... lets see ...

Well done on picking up on this one, though as I mentioned: not so much a dare as "Which Movie Wins". I'd like to hear it for some of the less well-known films too. Bring on 'Rain' or 'Broken English'...

    Hey Sarah,

Thought of a dare for ya. Only 'cause I have by chance already completed the unique feat.

    Dare 3:
Get yelled at by a homeless person in Bayswater. (Bayswater is a rather central and well to do area 5 mins from Hyde Park. Currently where Robbie and I are residing.) On our first night in Bayswater I was indiscriminantly readinga menu on the outside of a restaurant when a homeless man came up to me begging at volume for a £1. I said no and continued to read the menu. Being a good old fashioned hardened homeless person he continued his begging. Robbie and I stood there reading and ignoring him. After a few mins his volume increased,(He less than a metre from me) and he said "Are you going to stand there and ignore me?". To which I aptly replied yas and began to walk away.

His response was to yell at the top his lungs various expletives about what I should do to my Mother etc. All the while it was very entertaining and slightly scary from Robbie who now insists we walk away from all homeless people a pace. Baawhahahahahaaa...

So....if you are up for it...try it but I think as luck would have it only I can attract such unique Human Beings.

Good luck and I'll catch ya in the UK. (Which is of course shourt for YUK weather. Hehehe)
