New Beginnings

Its been a week & I am loving the new life ... my new life! Have been in the new flat for a little over a week, and to quote McDonald's, I'm loving it! Its working out well with Lena, who quite possibly may be cleaner than me (shocking, I know!) and personality-wise we appear to be clicking. Ultimately what strikes me is that I get all the benefits of living alone, doing what I like, when I like, but some added companionship on occasions when I want it. We don't live in each other's pockets, which suits me fine, but we are more than happy to crack open a bottle of wine and mull over the week's issues.

I REALLY don't want to jinx it just yet, but I think it might be working out! I'm all settled in, thanks to finally being able to unpack ALL my stuff (although please do tell me how I left home in April with only a 20kg backpack, and now have enough "stuff" to full about 8 x 20kg backpacks! I don't even have money to spend yet!). Clapham is a really nice area as well - its safe, got a nice community vibe going on, there's great bars/cafes/restaurants & its close to the city without all the costs that go along with that.
